Park anywhere in the neighborhood and take the trail east... toward the sign.
Turn LEFT (east) when the trail meets the road.

From here, continue walking east along Mulholland Hwy. The pavement will end, and a flat fire road continues to the Deronda Platform.

Deronda Platform
Not as close as the others, but excellent views of Downtown LA and the Observatory. The trail to the back of the sign starts here.
The trail to the back of the sign is steep and takes about 45 minutes. Bring water and a hat depending on the weather.
